My journey into military service began with my first hero: my father. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and growing up, I wanted nothing more than to follow in his footsteps.
In 2001, I did just that. I spent eight years and one day serving in the Navy, ultimately reaching the rank of Electronics Technician First Class in the Naval Nuclear Power Program aboard the USS Nimitz.
The nuclear Navy instilled three principles that have stayed with me ever since: Knowledge, Integrity, and Excellence.
My love of watches began during those years, too. After returning from my first overseas deployment, I celebrated by purchasing a two-tone Citizen perpetual calendar. I still have that watch today.
The Watch Vault brings together a lifelong appreciation for timepieces and the values that have shaped my life.
